Signed & Sealed - Just a Note for Paper Players #519
29 November 2020
Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulous Anne Marie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a great Tic Tac Toe board for us. For my choices I went horizontal on the top line - Patterned Paper, Die Cut and Embossing. For my card I used some of my new favorite goodies from The Greetery: Signed & Sealed with a Kiss, Signed & Sealed and the Shiplap dies. Oh... I LOVE those dies!
I created my own patterned paper by blending oranges and browns together on a piece of Vanilla card stock and then die cutting them. I arranged the die-cuts onto a piece of paper and cut them to size to fit the side panel. I stamped and die cut all the other elements and arranged them into my gold embossed envelope. I added a seal and a setiment and the card was ready.
Seriously.... how fabulous is that shiplap? For a little added texture I added some small splatters of gold metallic watercolor paint onto the background. This card will be sent off in the next shipment of cards for seniors to be hand delivered with their Meals on Wheels. Pumpkin Pie isn't a color I use often, but I love how rich it looks. Maybe I need to use it more?
I have two more cards to share with you later today, but wanted to get this post done as I am late! I forgot all about photographing my card yesterday and it was only at 5.30 when I looked outside and realized it was DARK and that I couldn't photograph my card.
Don't forget - blog candy is up for grabs for anyone who chooses to follow me on Instagram. I'll be uploading my first post today - as soon as I figure out how to do it!!!! You can find me right here.
I'll be back later. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Jaydee, this is gorgeous! I love the orange hues and that you created your own background paper with that beautiful shading. So pretty! The flowers bursting from the envelope will truly be a joy for the recipient opening the envelope, for sure. Wow!

This is AMAZING Jaydee! I rarely use orange outside of pumpkin season but love how you’ve combined it with red and green on your card here. Fabulous shiplap too - so creative! A fabulous card!

Thanks, Hilda. I generally don't "do" colors as bright as this, but I think I need to use it more. I did have such fun creating it.
