Happy Saturday.
Where has this week gone? I have a quick card for you tonight using one of my favorite Stampin' Up! sets - Toile Christmas. This is one of the cards that was shipped off to the seniors this past week. I made multiples of them - all slightly different. I love how versatile this set is - it can be used for very simple CAS cards, or, like the one tonight.
Generally I spend a fair amount of time coloring this image, but as I was making multiples of this card, I did some very quick coloring with a Copic marker. You can see other cards I made with this set at the following links: clean and simple, another clean and simple, making use of DSP, and another clean and simple.
On a personal note:
Lou and I are still trying to finish up the Christmas decorations, but still aren't finished. As we are staying home this year, unlike previous years, we are "going all out". However, when we looked around this morning we realized it was far from "going all out". Yes, it's more than we normally do - but it doesn't resemble anything close to a Hallmark Christmas movie set up! Mind you, one of the issues is the lack of tree. Christmas trees, baubles and cats.... NAH! We really don't want to go there!
I'll have some decorating photographs to share with you later this week and I will be back with my Paper Players card tomorrow. Before I go, have a photo of one of my favorite North American birds. These little guys are so entertaining and every year we look forward to their mating trills. Once we hear that sound we know that Spring is around the corner. This one was interested in food and wasn't in the mood to hang around waiting for me to get a fully focused shot!
I'll be back tomorrow. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a lift - and stay safe out there.
Hugs
Jaydee
