Happy Saturday and a belated Merry Christmas to all. Lou and I both hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and were able to spend time with your loved ones - albeit remote for many of us! I had meant to share this card with you yesterday, but when I scheduled it to publish I scheduled it for the wrong date! I created multiples of these cards for our personal Christmas cards this year. I mixed some of my new The Greetery goodies - Hoop Wreath Stamp Set and the Hoop Wreath die with a favorite die from Stampin' Up!... Read more →

Happy Monday! Festive Friday have another great challenge and I couldn't wait to play along. I needed to make a Christmas card for our amazing postal worker. Really.... it doesn't matter if its -47 degrees or +115 degrees, postie is out there every day delivering mail. For my card, I was inspired by a photo on our local news channel that showed sun set over the snow - and how the snow turned orange. I decided it was the perfect time to ink up my Wishes and Wonder set. Here's Joanne's theme: I started by blending the winter sky with the sun setting. I stamped, die-cut and colored the sleigh from the Wishes and Wonder set. I added the North Pole stamp onto the base with some... Read more →

Happy Saturday. Where has this week gone? I have a quick card for you tonight using one of my favorite Stampin' Up! sets - Toile Christmas. This is one of the cards that was shipped off to the seniors this past week. I made multiples of them - all slightly different. I love how versatile this set is - it can be used for very simple CAS cards, or, like the one tonight. Generally I spend a fair amount of time coloring this image, but as I was making multiples of this card, I did some very quick coloring with... Read more →
