Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's Tic Tac Toe week! Here's Laurie's board: I went across the top: die-cut, animal, scene. I started by stamping the birds from the Robin and Wren set from The Greetery and paired that with Blooming Branch - also from The Greetery. I blended some Pool Party ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock and then die-cut the top and bottom pieces from the Oval Halfsies dies - also from The Greetery. All that was left to do was assemble the... Read more →

Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Sue's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge and this is her code word: When I saw this code word, I was wondering how I could incorporate pattern into a CAS card. Tasteful Texture embossing folder and blended some blue ink onto the Brick and Mortar layer to help bring out the embossing a little more. This card will be going off to the seniors. If... Happy Tuesday. I spent some time in my craft room making cards for the kids at sendasmile4kids and had such fun playing with the new Snailed It set from Stampin' Up! I looked up the collective noun for a group of snails and apparently it is an escargatoire, walk or rout. I didn't think much of a title "rout of snails" for my blog and thought escargatoire just kind of flowed off the tongue! :-) Whatever you decide to call it - I have several cards to share with you tonight! For my first card, I pulled out my old... Read more →

Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Claire's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has the perfect theme for us: It's a perfect theme for me as we have lots of fresh snow on the ground and the world looks pretty much like the inspiration photo! I used a snowflake stencil from The Greetery to create a softly blended background for my card. I then stamped the elements from one of the stamps from the Budding Beauties Winter set - also from the Greetery. However, the stem alone just didn't feel right so I pulled a die... Read more →
