Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulous Ann's turn to host our Paper Players challenge and it's CAS week. Ann chose a fabulous theme for us:
There were so many places I could have gone with this but, in the end, I decided to ink up my new stencil and stamp set from the Greetery called Bunny Hop. This card is an Easter card, but I used the same layout to make birthday cards for tbe Bearly Art card drive for kids in foster care.
The Greetery really do make it so easy to make these cards. The stencils are numbered and all fit together perfectly. The additional stamps are numbered and easy to place and the die for the wreath is so easy to fit. I just loved playing with this.
Here's my card:
I die cut three extra wreaths and added them behind the focal one to give a little lift from the background. Pink and purple aren't normally my colors, but this is an Easter card after all :-)
The design team have some fabulous inspiration for you - as usual:
On a personal note:
PHEW. I am done making cards. I've been making a few every day. I haven't done a final tally yet, but I know that I am above 300. My goal had been to make 250 - but I'm probably going to end up about 75 above that. I still have to photograph them all but here are a few I made using the fun papers from Stampin' Up!'s Snailed It. The papers and images are just perfect for this project.
These papers are jus so cute and I couldn't resist using them for multiple cards. I made more cards with this set this week too!
I've been so busy making cards that I haven't even decorated for Spring yet. But, I will be doing that in the next couple of days. First, I have to sort and send off the cards. Once I've done that, I can settle down to playing with my Silhouette and decorating for Spring. Oh.... the joy of warmer, longer days!
I'll be back in a couple of days. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee
