Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Vicky's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and here is her code word: When I thought of this code word, my initial reaction was to do something with clouds. Then I realized I didn't have anything that went with clouds, so I had to give it another thought. I went through my stamps and saw the balloon bouquet from the greetery and thought - oh.... balloons and sky! So, now you know why there is a balloon on my card! Here's my card: I die-cut the balloon from a piece of... Read more →

Happy Sunday - Again :-) Just a quick post as I wanted to share one of the cards I made today. As always, I went looking for some inspiration and visited one of my favorite sites - AtlanticHeartsSketches. I'd like to give a shout-out to the DT. Not only do they have great challenges, but the design team are amazing about leaving meaningful comments on the submission cards. In my experience, not ever challenge site does that, so it makes it extra special when the DT members take the time. This is their great sketch for this week. As you... Read more →

To add just a little bit of dimension I die cut two extra bows from plain card stock and added those behind the printed one. Here's my card: I hope you... Read more →

Happy Sunday - again! This is my second post for today. You can find my Paper Players card at this link. Yesterday was the first day in many weeks that I got to make a card just for the fun of it. I saw this great sketch across at AtlanticHearts and decided to play along. Before I show you my card, I had to show you the inspiration for it. I wasn't inspired by the colors - but more by the sentiment on the framed piece. When we were looking for something to replace the winter themed one of the... Read more →

Happy Sunday It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's color week. When I first saw this color challenge I immediately thought masculine. It would have worked really well for some of the ideas that I had but, as I stood looking at my collection of stamps, I had an idea to use it with Free as a Bird instead! This set is one of my favorite Stampin' Up! sets of all time and is another one of those sets that won't get recycled for quite a while! I stamped and colored the... Read more →
