Happy Sunday, again! Popping in with a quick card that I made for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge this week. It's been ages since I have been able to play along with their challenges and I always enjoy them. This week's sketch is no exception. Also, if you haven't played along with any of their challenges, I really recommend them. The design team does a great job and always leave wonderful comments! I used a piece of DSP from some retired SU papers - and... once again... I used a piece of PINK DSP!!!! I stamped and fussy cut some... Read more →
Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's Tic-Tac-Toe week: Tic-tac-toe weeks are always fun as there are so many different cards in the gallery - and in the inspiration from our design team! Happy Sunday. It's my turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's sketch week. Here's my sketch: When I looked at the sketch as I was getting ready to make a card, it reminded me of the die-cut that comes with the Cozy Cup set, so I decided to go with that inspiration! Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Barb's turn to host our addictedtocas challenge and this is her code word For my card, I went with a choice of browns to color my giraffe. This cute image is from a set that I have had in my stash for ages. It's from Katzelkraft and is a set called Les Jungles. I kept the card really clean and simple. I stamped and colored the image and added a little bit of "sand" for him to be standing on. The inside is just as simple and says "I forgot your birthday". Here's my card:... Read more →
Happy Sunday, again! I'm dropping in to share a card I made using the fabulous sketch across at FreshlyMade. I had some fun with a Stampin' Up Embossing folder - Seabed and paired it with some sea creatures from The Greetery to make a children's card. Here's the Freshly Made sketch: I used a piece of Neenah Solar White 80# paper and ran it through my big shot. I then used my blending brushes and Catherine Pooler inks to blend a background with green, blue and a touch of orange. I wanted the background colors to echo the colors of... Read more →
