Botanicuts Tulip for Paper Players #541
16 May 2021
Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulous Anne Marie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and the challenge also fits with the Festive Friday challenge #84
When I was creating my card I realized that I had nothing that had polka dots on it. So, I had to get creative! I went thru my stack of goodies and found an old Simon Says Stamp snowflake stencil that I used to create a polka dot base behind my floral.
For the Festive Friday challenge I went with flowers, green and die-cut. I die-cut and colored the tulips first. I sponged them to get color down, but finished off all the details with my pencils. I added the polka dot layer with some Catherine Pooler ink and then adhered the flower to the base. I added some foam dots behind the flower petals to give them a little lift.
Here's my card:
I am in love with these Botanicuts from The Greetery, they really are fun to use and I love how they turn out. I hope you will join us and play along this week. As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:
I'll be back later with another card as I am off to play in my craft room and will be off to some challenge sites for some inspiration. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee
