Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Anne Marie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and the challenge also fits with the Festive Friday challenge #84 When I was creating my card I realized that I had nothing that had polka dots on it. So, I had to get creative! I went thru my stack of goodies and found an old Simon Says Stamp snowflake stencil that I used to create a polka dot base behind my floral. For the Festive Friday challenge I went with flowers, green and die-cut. I die-cut and colored the tulips first. I sponged... Read more →

Happy Sunday -again! Popping in with my second post for today as I wanted to share a card I created using the sketch across at Freshly Made: It's been ages since I have been in my craft room and made cards to participate in challenges. I needed a birthday card at this sketch inspired me to take out my new Botanicut Lily dies from The Greetery. I had tremendous fun just relaxing, diecutting, coloring and assembling. I needed a square behind my focal images, so I blended some Catherine Pooler inks with my blending brushes. Here's my card: I love... Read more →

Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week - and it's color week. Here's Laurie's challenge: Black, red and grey are colors that I generally don't put together. Coincidentally, it happens to be the second post in a row that has images from these three exact colors! Luckily I had my layered rectangles to help me create... Read more →

Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Fran's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge and this is her code word: I pulled out my Little Ladybug from Stampin' Up! It is the only stamp set that I have that contains bugs, but it's a favorite for young kids cards. I made this card for the collection I gathered for Bearly Art 2021. I paired the stamp set with my crimped frame from The Greetery and did some very simple coloring. Here's my car: They really are cute little ladybugs! I hope you will join us and play along with our... Read more →

Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a great theme for us: This was great inspiration for me as I made cards for the Bearly Art card drive. I found this fabulous Hero Arts dragon set at Joanne's on a buy 2 get 1 free promotion and I paired it with the film strip from My Favorite Things. I just love these little dragons - especially with the sentiment. Here's my card: I hope you will join us and play along - we can't wait to see what you... Read more →
