Seaside Treasures for Atlantic Hearts Sketch
30 May 2021
Happy Sunday, again!
Popping in with a quick card that I made for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge this week. It's been ages since I have been able to play along with their challenges and I always enjoy them. This week's sketch is no exception. Also, if you haven't played along with any of their challenges, I really recommend them. The design team does a great job and always leave wonderful comments!
I used a piece of DSP from some retired SU papers - and... once again... I used a piece of PINK DSP!!!! I stamped and fussy cut some seashells from an old Fun Stamper's Journey set that must be at least 8 years old! I absolutely love this set and will never get rid of it! I used softer colors and arranged the shells. I stamped an sentiment and tried to off-set it so that it wasn't straight... but... I didn't quite tilt it enough... SO... it looks neither straight nor intentionally tilted! But, as I had stuck it down with foam tape, there was nothing I could do about it as I didn't want to destroy the elements underneath.
Anyway, here's my card:
I really love that pink background paper and it works so well with the postal frames die from The Greetery.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little hug tonight.
Before I go.... a nature photo for you - one of our very welcome summer visitors - a female Baltimore Oriole:
Hugs
