Budding Beauties Summer for Paper Players #547

Happy Sunday

It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's sketch week.

I decided it was time to ink up the Budding Beauties Summer set from The Greetery with some bright colors.  I stamped and die-cut them and then arranged the florals in a bunch tied with a nice big bow.

Here's my card:

I used my favorite Postal Frames die to die cut the base of the card.  I really do love that scalloped edge.  As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you.

On a personal note:

FINALLY... we had some very welcome rain and have a chance for more over this coming week.  It has been dreadfully dry and we are on water rationing, which, considering this is Minnesota, shows you how dry it must have been.  The poor farmers must have welcomed the rain even more than our garden did.  Needless to say, the fountains in the garden have been getting a lot of use by the birds.

I managed to catch this shot of the Female Grosbeak at the jelly feeder this week.  Right now, there are so many birds feeding from it, that we are going through a bottle of jelly a day!

But... the cost of a bottle of jelly is so worth it for the joy that it brings us watching the birds.  We've seen them feed and now they are bringing their babies and teaching them to feed themselves.

I'm hoping to get into my craft room to make some cards today.  So should have something to share with you during the week.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.

Hugs

Jaydee
