Bold Alpha Happy B'day for Paper Players #550
18 July 2021
Happy Sunday
It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and this is her theme:
What a wonderful excuse for me to bring out some of my old SU paper featuring those fabulous little black, white and gold foil bees! I paired it with a honeycomb from the same set and some Bold Alpha letters from The Greetery. Here's my card:
To add a little more interest to the top layer, I die-cut a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock with my Crimped Borders die - also from The Greetery.
As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:
Now, it's over to you - and we can't wait to see what you create with LeAnne's theme.
On a personal note:
Well, it really was good to get away for a few days and enjoyed not having to do anything other than decide which of the food and activity options I was going to do! After 18 months without a trip, it was really nice to get away. And thanks to my wonderful Paper Players team mate, Ann, who picked up my challenge commitments last week! It's always good to be home though and I did manage to spend a little time in my craft room catching up on cards for my challenge commitments. I'm hoping to spend a little more time in there today, too
Whilst I was away, mother Robin took up residence in the nest on the wreath at the front door. It's wonderful that we will be able to watch the babies for a second time this year.
We have had lots of babies at the jelly feeder again this year. Mommy Grosbeak was busy going backwards and forwards feeding her nestlings and I managed to capture this shot of her landing on the feeder:
There is usually a queue waiting to get to the jelly. For this shot it was the female grosbeak, the male robin and the catbird!
Hopefully, I will get to play in my craft room just for the fun of it today, in between making cards for my challenge commitments. If I do, then I will be back later in the week with a card and some more photos. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee

I love that big bold alphabet (might have to give a look at them online!) and that sweet little bee! But I must say I have never seen a robin eat anything but worms! I am amazed that they are at your oriole feeder! Those midwestern birds must be different than our east coast ones!

Clean and perfect, Jaydee! The cut out bee is the perfect accent for the awesome bold letters. The addition of the honeycomb adds to the bee theme. It was my pleasure to help you out with your challenge commitments last week. It was such a FUN challenge, and I enjoyed checking out all of the entries. I'm glad you had fun during your spa getaway!
