Curio Summer Finds for Less is More
03 August 2021
Happy Tuesday!
I'm sharing a card I made for the challenge across at less is more this week. The challenge was to CASE the card on their website. You can see the card we have to CASE right here.
If you visited the LIM site, you will see that I was attracted to the colors (primarily oranges and greens) and the way the focal image was broken up into rectangles. I die-cut three rectangles using my new Curio Divider die from The Greetery and paired it with the dragonfly and moth dies form the Curio Summer Finds dies. Also from The Greetery.
I went looking online for some inspiration photos for the dragonflies. Now, they don't represent a specific dragonfly, it's just that I was ispired by them :-) Once I had everything ready to assemble, I decided the focal images really needed a frame, so used my stitched rectangles for the job.
Here's my card:
To add a little interest on the panels, I took some of the inks and splattered some green and gold ink to tie into the dragonflies. I must admit I am totally obsessed with thee dragonflies!
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
