Budding Beauties Summer for Paper Players #558

Happy Sunday

It's the fabulous Ann's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week - and it's color week:

Anyone who has been following my blog for a while will probably remember that purple is not my color.  Oh... and neither is pink!  However, the great thing about challenges is that they force you out of your comfort zone!  For my 4th color I decided to add green as these colors felt very floral to me.

I inked up a couple of stamps from Budding Beauty Summer from the Greetery.   And yes.. you can see.... my favorite stencil made ANOTHER appearance :-)  Knit Wits is just the perfect mixture of texture and pattern without being overpowering and it makes a great backdrop to ground elements for me.

Here's my card:

Budding Beauties Summer pp (1 of 1)-3

Of course, I also had to bring out my favorite frame die - Postal Frames, also from the Greetery.

I hope you will join us and play along this week.  We would love to see what you create with these colors.  As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

On a personal note:

Well, I won't get into my craft room this weekend as I have a hand injury and, as it is my right hand, life is proving a little difficult!  However, I do have my challenge commitment cards made for the next couple of weeks, so that really helps.  Sometimes, it pays off to work a little ahead :-)

I'll be back later in the week.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

Hope your hand is getting better!! Must be super tough if you want to get to creating! This is a lovely card! That postal frame is a nice detail and those flowers could certainly be a real postage stamp for sure! Take care!

Jaydee, I think your beautiful bouquet was made for these colors. Each and every element is perfect, especially the subtle texture in your postal frame. Love it.
