Fir & Foliage for Addicted to CAS #207
25 September 2021
Happy Saturday.
It's the fabulous Fran's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and here is her codeword:
I don't know about you, but it is certainly beginning to look and feel like Autumn. Our trees are just starting to turn and ALL of our summer visitors have left for the southerly migrations. It won't be long before the Junco's have moved south to overwinter with us!
I decided to go very clean this week and used my Greetery Fir & Foliage Stencils to create my focal element. I added three different shades of green and touches of burgundy and orange to represent the turning leaves. The sentiment is also from The Greetery Fall Foliage stamp set. I just love the fabulous font on this set... well, to be honest, I love a lot of the fonts on the stamps from The Greetery!
Here's my card:
I hope you will play along with us. We would love to see what you create with this code word. As always, the design team has some fabulous inspiration for you including our very talented guest designer Valérie.
On a personal note:
Well, my hand was working enough that I made this card. Mind you, there wasn't much stamping involved! It's going to be another couple of weeks before it is fully functional, but I am hoping it holds out while we finish decorating for fall and I make a couple of cards!
I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
