Happy Sunday! It's the fabulous Ann's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's tic-tac-toe time: die-cuts, leaves, embellishments I went with die-cuts, leaves and embellishments for my clean and simple card. I was inspired by the "leaves" portion of the tic-tac-toe and brought them into the focal image as well as the sentiment. It was a great excuse to ink up my Gettin' Cozy set from The Greetery again. I did some very simple coloring and then die-cut the image. For the embellishments, I decided to cover up the argyle pattern that is on the Moose's... Read more →

Happy Friday. It's another INSPO list at Festive Friday this week and this is the list of things to inspire you for the challenge: flowers, pastels, thank you sentiment, pastel colors Seriously! What a great celebration. Making thank you cards are such a great excuse for making a card! There is so much to be thankful for right now and I was very happy to jump on board and make a card. I inked up Handmade Labels and Floral Delicacy - both for The Greetery. I love the mixture of the shiny silver and the pastel colors - even though... Read more →

Happy Sunday It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and this is her sketch: I have no idea why, but this sketch caused me no end of issues this week. I don't think it was the sketch, I think it's because I haven't been in my craft room for a while and it just takes me ages to get... Read more →

Happy Saturday It's the fabulous Ceal's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and this is her code word: Those of you who have visited my blog before might remember that purple is my LEAST favorite color! So, I decided to go really clean and simple with this card. I used thee Birthday Blooms from the Greetery to create the focal sentiment and the two floral details. What's great about this set is that you can really decorate to your hearts content, or add just a couple of details. I elected to do the latter:-) Here's my... Read more →

Happy Sunday It is my turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's Clean and Simple Week. My favorite!!! It was a great excuse for me to ink up the Reflections set from The Greetery. This set lends itself to one layer CAS cards, like the one I created for you today, but it can also be layered with multiple trees and fancy cut outs. If you are interested in more inspiration using this set, you can check out The Greetery shop here. I stamped all of the elements and then added a little more contrast with... Read more →
