Pinwheel Party 2022 for Festive Friday challenge and blog candy reminder

Happy Friday

It's another fabulous INSPO challenge across at Festive Friday

I had such fun pulling from the inspiration words again this week.  I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again :-)  The great thing about these challenges is that there are so many different elements that you can incorporate - and into any style of card making!

Here's our INSPO list for this week:

For my card, I went with silver, black, 2022, die-cuts, emboss, and sparkle!  When you choose all of those elements, it just has to be a party on your card - and I decided to make mine a New Year's card.     I pulled out my Pinwheel party Stencils from The Greetery.  Instead of using normal ink with the stencils, I used versamark for each layer and then added different color embossing powders.    I used the Bold Numbers die to create the 2022 and die-cut them from some old silver paper that I had been hoarding.  A couple of shiny, glittery enamel dots - and my card was complete.

Here's my card:

The design team have some fabulous inspiration for you - AGAIN :-)  They really are a talented bunch!

On a personal note:

As a reminder, I have a little Christmas stamping-goodies package to give away to one of my lucky blog readers.  All you have to do is check out THIS POST - and tell me where you think the photograph of the coral and shells was taken.  You don't have to be right to win, you just have to participate :-)  You can either leave a comment, or send me an email :-)

Well, the snow has arrived and it is here to stay!  We are under a winter weather advisory for tomorrow afternoon into Sunday morning, so we can expect about another 4" of the white stuff before Saturday evening.  I'm sure the world will look gorgeous when the snow has fallen. :-)

I'll be back on Sunday with my Paper Payers card as well as the name of the blog candy winner!  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

Wow, Jaydee! These embossed pinwheels are gorgeous! And the silvery numbers...I can see why you were hoarding this paper. It's a stunning card, perfect for welcoming in the New Year. Merry Christmas, my friend!
