Deco Triangles and Curio Summer Findings for Addicted to CAS #212

Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Vicki's turn to host our first Addicted to CAS challenge for 2022 and it was a great excuse to ink up my Deco Triangles Stencil and Curio Summer Findings Dragonfly from The Greetery.

Here's Vicki's code word:

I began with a piece of Neenah Solar White 100# card stock and my Deco Triangles stencil.  I brushed a few of the triangles with blue ink.  I then ran the focal layer through my Platinum 6 and my Stitched Rectangles die.  I die-cut the dragonfly parts from the Curio Summer Findings dies and inked them with a finger blender and blue and green inks from The Stamp Market.

The sentiment was stamped from a set from The Greetery called Cotton Comforts.  Sadly, I made this card for a fellow crafter who recently lost her husband after a long and brave battle with cancer.

Here's my card:

I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge this week.  We would love to see what you create.  You can check out the fabulous inspiration cards from our very talented design team on our blog - and you can also post your card there!

On a personal note:

OK... its still cold here - another couple of days this week with -30 temps!  I managed to capture a shot of one of the deer taking a rest in our woodland today!  I hope you can make out her shape!

I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Beautiful ink blending on this lovely dragonfly, Jaydee! I also love the softness of your pastel triangles in the background, too...very pretty card ~ xx

Dragonflies have such a significant meaning for me, and especially when a lived one passes. You simplicity and colour are just lovely and make a heartfelt card.

Lovely with the subtle stenciled triangles! Love your photo of the deers too :)
