Happy Sunday It's the fabulous Ann's turn to host our Paper Players challenge and it's CAS week and Ann has a theme of Wild about Wildlife. I needed a card for a friend at work who always manages to make me laugh, even on the worst of conference calls. So, to thank him, I made a card to wish him a happy new year and to thank him for having helped me get through last year. As he's recently been on safari in Africa, I thought the Laughing Animals set from Paper Rose was perfect! I stamped, colored and fussy... Read more →
Happy Saturday. It's another challenge at Addicted to CAS this week and the fabulous Toni is our host. I loved her code word this week and it was a great excuse for me to bring out an oldy but goodie stamp set from Katzelkraft called Les Jungles. Having spent over two decades in Africa, I have been incredibly lucky to see lions in their native habitat and I have to tell you, it is one of the most amazing experiences and it never got old. Happy Friday! It's another fabulous challenge at Festive Friday this week and we have a great festivity for you. I mean.... it's National Peanut Butter Lover's Day! Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's color week, I've been making cards for SendaSmile4Kids and these colors just felt so wonderfully playful, that I decided to use them for a kids card. It was the perfect excuse to ink up an old sent from Janes Doodles called Monster Squad. I stamped and colored the little monsters and then added sun rays behind them using an old Tim Holtz sun ray stencil. I hope you will join us and play along. Here's my card: As always the design team have... Read more →
Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's theme week. It was a great excuse to ink up one of my original sets from The Greetery called Signed & Sealed. I stamped and die-cut the envelope and did the same with the floral elements. I stamped the script from the set onto the base to add a little texture and used my favorite postal frames die on the focal layer. Here's my card: I hope you will join us this week - we would love to see your take on Laurie's... Read more →
