Happy Friday.
We have another great INSPO list for you at Festive Friday today and we are celebrating St Valentine's day. Here's the INSPO list for this week. This was the greatest excuse to bring out my new Botanicuts Strawberry dies from The Greetery and Lou will know exactly why I bought this set with my Christmas gift card from him :-) I used the Window Pane background stamp to create a look that I hope resembles a strawberry basket - well, at least a hint to one :-)
Red, watercolor, romantic sentiment, hearts (strawberries), stitching
I began by die-cutting the strawberries from watercolor paper and then used my Stamp Market watercolors to lay down the initial color. Once that was dry I went in with my Copic markers to add more depth and texture with color. I stamped the Window Pane background stamp in a pale pink and then die-cut that layer with my Postal Frames die - one of my favorite all time dies!
Here's my card:
Don't those strawberries look absolutely ripe and delicious? They are such fun and I can't wait to use these dies again.
I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge this week. As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:
I'll be back tomorrow with my Addicted to CAS challenge card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
