Beautiful You for Festive Friday #0107
15 April 2022
Happy Friday.
It's another awesome INSPO list at Festive Friday this week. Even though our theme this week is International Dance Day - the great thing about the INSPO list is that your card doesn't have to feature DANCE - it just has to accommodate 3 things from our INSPO list. It was the flexibility of the INSPO list that originally drew me to the challenge site. So, we hope you will join us and play along - and we can't wait to see which three elements inspire YOU.
My choice? Patterned Paper, Dancer, Music, Vellum
The Beautiful set was a perfect set for this challenge. I began by stamping the notes all over the base layer and then softening that layer with a piece of vellum. For my focal image... I stamped that twice. Once on the focal layer and another on a piece of DSP. I fussy cut around it and added it to the image on the focal layer.
Here's my card:
I hope you will join us and play along. We really would love to see what you create.
I'll be back tomorrow with my AtCAS card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

I so love that image and never get tired of seeing it. Love the paper you used for her dress, and that sentiment is so wonderful. Great card.

I just love that sentiment Jaydee and your paper-pieced lady from 'Beautiful You' is just perfect with it. Great background too - I love the soft and subtle music note detail. Beautiful!

Beautiful! Love the DSP you used for her dress. I thought you had colored it until I read that you fussy cut and pieced it. I love the sentiment too. Good words to live by.
