Sending Sunshine for Addicted to CAS #221
28 May 2022
Happy Saturday.
It's the fabulous Nancy's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and this is her code word:
Yesterday I went to the admin blog and realized that instead of being ahead with my challenges, I was now behind! So, I had to quickly make a card for the challenge and really couldn't make up my mind what to do. So, I rummaged through my stamps and saw this little hyena trying to pretend to be a zebra - or is a zebra trying to be a hyena! whichever way around it is.... he was perfect for the challenge. To add a little more to the "stripes" part, I added some stripes with my Tim Holtz sunrays stencil. Some quick coloring and we were ready to go.
Here's my card:
I still haven't quite the right place to photograph cards yet as I am still trying to figure out the light in the apartment! It was good to be able to go into my craft room and know where everything is though! So, that's a major step forward. It's all organized, but still doesn't feel like my own space yet as I don't have any of my art work etc. as those are still at the house as we left them for staging.
I do hope you will join us and play along with Nancy's code word. We would love to see what you create.
I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
Card recipe:
- Stamps: Les Jungles, Katzelkraft

That's a pretty darn good card for doing it up last minute!

Loved the hyena/zebra or zebra-hyena. You couldn't have chosen better for the "stripes" though Nancy probably thought about the stripes in the flag . . . the 4th of July approaching!!!
