Happy Tuesday - really late Sunday :-)
I hadn't realized that my Paper Players post had not gone live until someone reminded me :-)
So, here's our Paper Players challenge this week and the fabulous Laurie has chosen a CAS theme and it was a perfect opportunity for me to take out a die that Lou bought for me on a trip to Oz a few years ago. The die is called Tall Building Border die. However, the CAS member of the Paper Players did the ultimate boo-boo.... I missed the CAS part! But my kind PP family suggested that I load it anyway :-)
Here's Laurie's challenge:
There's a story behind this card. We have moved to an apartment - as many of you know - however, the apartment isn't where we were supposed to be moving to. The fabulous apartment we were supposed to move to is a few thousand miles away - but life gets in the way of decisions and so we ended up here instead. The point of the card was to let Lou know that it really didn't matter where we ended up as long as we were together. OK, altogether now.... awwww :-)
So, my card is definitely not CAS - here it is for you anyway!
I'll be back later in the week with a card - if I can find the boxes they are in :-) We can't quite unpack my card room yet as I am still waiting for storage from ikea. However, we did find my camera yesterday!
Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Lovely cityscape, Jayden! I love the sunset colors. My cards this week leaned a bit toward CAS-plus, and I think your card does too. Maybe not strictly CAS, but close, and it’s beautiful!

I absolutely love this card, Jaydee! The beautiful night sky is stunning behind that cityscape. I completely think this more than qualifies for CAS, my friend. You rock!

Jaydee, this is just amazing! I love the gorgeous background for these fabulous city buildings! I know your life is unsettled, but it will all work out. I know Lou loved this special card!

My, your card is a stunner. So beautiful. I hope you two are doing well in your new home and city. Thinking of you and sending a hug.

Jaydee I'm so glad you shared this card - that inked sunset is gorgeous! I can see why this card might not meet your high CASstandards, but it's a lot more clean and simple than you might think. A beautiful simple, well thought through design - but yes, it's the sentiment that won me over completely!
