Happy Sunday
I have another card for you today - two posts in one day! :-) I played along with a couple of challenges this weekend and today's card is for CAS on Fridays challenge which is Fruit.
It was just the excuse I needed to use my Botanicuts Strawberry die-cuts from The Greetery. This time I used Copic markers and my Prismacolor pencils to color the die-cuts. I anchored the fruit using my favorite stencil Knit Wits and die-cut the top layer with my favorite Postcard Frames. All from The Greetery.
Here's my card:
Isn't that such a great die? I just love it. I popped up the strawberries with foam tape and added a couple of extra leaves which I popped a little at the edges. The sentiment comes from Just Mason Around - also from The Greetery and I thought it was perfect with this image.
On a personal note:
No playing in my craft room today, I spent some time on my genealogy instead. The one thing about the new apartment - we have lots more time to do other things! I did promise you another photograph though - so here's one of the Catbird. They really are one of my favorite little birds and there is a good reason they are called a "catbird". If you haven't heard their song - you can check out their sounds at this link.
He's such a pretty bird with his little black cap and his rust colored belly - and they love the jelly! I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee
