Express Yourself for Addicted to CAS #229
17 September 2022
Happy Saturday.
It's the fabulous Ceal's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and the code word was the perfect excuse to ink up a VERY old favorite of mine - Express Yourself. I've had this set from around 2012 and I will never give it up. It has very few elements, but it is so versatile. Here's a sneak peek:
There is something about these paintbrushes that I love - and I love spending time fussy cutting them - including the very narrow neck of the second brush! I paired this set with the A Splash of Color stamps from Altenew, which I have also had for years! I think you might have somewhat guessed the code word for this week :-)
I stamped, colored and fussy cut the two brushes and the paint tube. I then inked up the splatter stamp from A Splash of Color with the colors of the rainbow. The great thing about the mini inks is that it makes this easier :-) Once that was complete, I added the sentiment and popped up the brushes and paint tube.
Here's my card:
I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge this week. As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you.
I'll be back on Sunday with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

An absolutely fabulous card Jaydee I simply adore it. You must have the patience of a saint to fussy cut something so small but it looks amazing popped up against that gorgeous splatter background.

Thanks, Marina. They were a little fiddly - but I think they were worth it in the end. This set is so adorable!
