Jumbo Curiosity Buckeye and Autumn Bliss for Paper Playes #615

Hi Everyone... I would say Happy Sunday. But, as my blogging platform has been down the whole weekend - and is still not really up, I will change it to Happy Monday afternoon. It's Tic-Tac-Toe week at the Paper Players this week and Anne Marie has a great one for us. I decided to use two of the Autumn themed goodies I got from The Greetery - the Jumbo Curiosity Buckeye Leaf and the stamp set called Autumn Bliss. Here's our board for the challenge: I went with Fall/Thanksgiving, Texture, and Orange/Yellow I die-cut and inked the leaves and then... Read more →

Lovely Silhouettes for Addicted to CAS #232

Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Vicki's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week. I find sympathy cards so difficult. But the set from the Greetery called Lovely Silhouettes is perfect for a clean and simple sympathy card. So, I think I let the cat out of the bag as to what the code word is for this challenge :-) I used a stencil from The Greetery to create the background panel and then stamped the flower in black ink. Happy Friday. It's another INSPO list day at Festive Friday. I love the inspiration list for this challenge and on a cold and dreary day, I was inspired to ink up some goodies from The Greetery called Warm and Wonderful, the Patchwork die and some wonderful old plaid DSP that I had in my stash. I mean, who wouldn't want to use something called Warm and Wonderful when you see this INSPO list. Here's a little sneak peek of my card: What do we see, a warm drink, a lovely plaid background and some cinnamon sticks! Sounds like the perfect... Read more →

Happy Sunday It's the fabulous Ann's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's sketch week. It gave me the perfect excuse to ink up two new things from the Greetery. Heaven and Nature Sing and Peaceful Doves. And I know that you now have an ear worm :-) I needed a horizontal piece to match the sketch and I really didn't want to detract from the focal image too much, so I brought out my trusted snowfall stencil from SimonSaysStamp and added some dots with paste. I used an old die for the focal layer called... Read more →

Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's theme week. The theme inspired me to bring out my Top Down set from The Greetery and pair it with some new stencils from My Favorite Things called Rolling Clouds and Drifts and Hills. Here's a sneak peek: So, what's the theme? As it was wheels, I couldn't help but use my old favorite Top Down. This time I decided to make it a birthday card and lots of balloons in the back of the car. I mean, have you ever tried to... Read more →
