Jumbo Curiosity Buckeye and Autumn Bliss for Paper Playes #615
31 October 2022
Hi Everyone... I would say Happy Sunday. But, as my blogging platform has been down the whole weekend - and is still not really up, I will change it to Happy Monday afternoon.
It's Tic-Tac-Toe week at the Paper Players this week and Anne Marie has a great one for us. I decided to use two of the Autumn themed goodies I got from The Greetery - the Jumbo Curiosity Buckeye Leaf and the stamp set called Autumn Bliss.
Here's our board for the challenge:
I die-cut and inked the leaves and then blended them with various colors of yellow and orange. I used my new favorite die from The Stamp Market called Curvy Border die. I used some metallic embossing paste for the sentiment on the curvy border and mounted it to pop off the page. I then tucked the leaves underneath and made sure to pop some of the leaves up to add a little more dimension.
Here's my card - and I'm sorry it's smaller than usual - but even though my blogging platform is live - it won't let me import photos, so I had to do a cut and paste instead!
- Stamps: Autumn Bliss - The Greetery
- Dies: Jumbo Curiosity Buckeye Leaf - The Greetery. Curvy Border - Stamp Market
- Inks: Stamp Market, Catherine Pooler
What beautiful leaves, Jaydee. I do love this card.

Jaydee, this is such a gorgeous card! I love the ink blending on the leaves. Such a bold and beautiful representation of the colors of the fall season. Thanks for rocking my challenge and hooray that your blog is back up and running again. :)

Beautiful, Jaydee! The leaves are a gorgeous color, and really "pop" against the gray background. The curvy border adds interest, while the detailing on the left is so creative. I absolutely LOVE this sentiment. Great card!!!

I've been waiting for our challenge to go live so I could rave about this card to you! What a beauty! I would frame it! I love these supplies but the curvy border and metallic paste knock it out of the park! Your colors are perfection. Way to go, my friend!

Gorgeous card, Jaydee! I love the extra-large leaves and sentiment, and the ink blending on the leaves is beautiful. Hopefully your technical difficulties are resolved by now!

Computer issues, especially when they're not your fault, are very frustrating! But your card is very soothing and I love those big gorgeous leaves! They look just like the ones in my neighborhood!

This card was certainly worth the wait Jaydee - I think it's stunning! The detail on those leaves is beautiful and I love the grey behind (which surprises me, as I would have tended towards a brown - a good learn!) I love the twine/binding detail too and the embossed lettering is amazing - so sharp for a paste finish!
