Top Down for Paper Players #613
16 October 2022
Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's theme week. The theme inspired me to bring out my Top Down set from The Greetery and pair it with some new stencils from My Favorite Things called Rolling Clouds and Drifts and Hills.
Here's a sneak peek:
So, what's the theme?
On a personal note:
Well, I was sitting at my desk (well, technically the dining table these days!) working on Friday when I noticed something odd going on outside. I mean, it was the 14th of October and I was not expecting to see it was snowing! Yep. It was snowing! I just seems waaaaaay too early. It left enough of a dusting to coat things and, luckily, it was gone in less than an hour. It was a good reminder though that winter is on her way!
I'll be back later in the week with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Hi Jaydee!!! Such a refresing card . . . I would not mind being a year older . . . I am like wine!!! Here we are at 30°C during daytime. It is very unusual this time of the year.

Gorgeous card, Jaydee, and who wouldn't want a deep red convertible? My mom has a convertible VW Bug, and she likes to "go topless" all over town, haha!

Well, it may have been easy to put together but it looks as if you spent hours making it! Your scene is amazing! This is a really special birthday card!

What a great little scene - your elegant lady is looking very Bridget Jones (before losing the headscarf, of course!) The perfect method of transporting balloons too. Good job it's not snowing on your card though - it really is too early for that!!

Oh, boy! What a fun card is this, Jaydee! Who wouldn't love to cruise around in a little red convertible, delivering a bunch of birthday balloons! Your clouds and hills are stenciled to perfection. Have a wonderful week!

Fun little vignette you created! But I am sure that snow you had would have put a damper on this little birthday drive!
