Arched Sentiments for Paper Players #616
06 November 2022
Happy Sunday.
It's the fabuloous Claire's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's theme week. It was the perfect excuse to ink up the Arched Sentiments set from the Greetery along with the Fond of Foliage background stamp. Here's a sneak peek and it also gives you a hint as to our challenge this week!
Here's Claire's challenge:
I made this card for an ex-neighbor who was incredibly kind and we have much to thank her for. As we are coming up to Thanksgiving, I thought it would be a great time to thank her again for all that she did for us. I kept the colors very much to the autumnal palette. I tried the die-cut focal image on a plain piece of cardstock, but decided it just needed a little something-something. So, I inked up the Fond of Foliage background stamp with some versamark and added it to the base. It was just the finishing touch the card seemed to need.
Here's my card:
Such a pretty stamp and even though I rarely use these colors, I think they turned out OK. I used some Delicata ink for the Thank You sentiment. I love that it gives so much wonderful shimmer and shine without the need to use embossing powder!
I hope you will join us and play along. As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:
I'm hoping to get a little time in my craft room today. I need to finish up the cards for kids in foster homes. I hope you all have a beautiful day and warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
