Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's sketch week! This sketch was the perfect one to use two of my new die-cuts called Paper Goods and the other called Crafty Hands from MFT and an old favorite called Pretty Postmarks from The Greetery. Oh, and I also added my very favorite - actually all time favorite - stencil called Knit Wits. Also from the Greetery. Here's a little sneak peek: Here's Joanne's sketch: What I love about this sketch is how versatile it is and you can see that in... Read more →

Happy Tuesday Well, I did manage to get into my craft room to do a little playing and I went looking for some inspiration. I found a wonderful moodboard featuring coffee across at Just Us Girls. It's the start of another brand new card and paper crafting challenge at Festive Friday and we have a fabulous set of inspiration words to get your creative juices going:-) For my card, I pulled out some oldies but goodies from the Greetery called Signed ^ Sealed and another called Pretty Postmarks. Here's a sneak peek: So, can you guess some of the INSPO words? Red is obviously one of them:-) Red, Texture, Rhinestones I began with the envelope and the large hearts. After die-cutting the hearts, I added some texture with an embossing folder. I added some... Read more →

Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Claire's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's color week. I have to admit... these colors are so not me.... BUT.... in the end I loved them. This challenge also gave me a chance to play with some new goodies that I got in the Crafty Hands Card Kit. You can buy this set of dies separately, but I got them as part of the kit. Here's a sneak peek: I'm guessing you realized that green and blue were two of Claire's colors :-) I'm also entering this card in the... Read more →
