Bubbles for Paper Players #624

Happy Sunday.

It's my turn to host the Paper Players challenge this week and it's my favorite week - CLEAN AND SIMPLE!  This week I have a twist though - it's a theme CAS challenge and the theme is "bird-day"!  For my card I inked up an old set from Stamping Bella called Bubbles.  Here's a sneak peek:

Here's our badge for this week:

I began by stamping the individual birds and bubbles onto my card base and then quickly colored them in.  It was fun deciding which way I would turn the birds on their bubbles.  Honestly, this set just makes me smile!

Here's my card:

Bubbles

See what I mean..... I mean.... who can help but smile when watching someone blow bubbles and the idea of the chicks floating off on them... well.... :-)

As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

On a personal note:

Well, the world still looks like a winter wonderland outside.  We certainly have had our fair share of snow this winter and it still looks really pretty.  I'm dying to put out spring decorations, but I just can't do it with so much snow on the ground!  So, the goodies are in their boxes waiting for the snow to melt :-)

I haven't had much chance to do card making the last couple of weeks.  I've done enough to get ahead in the challenges, but I'm hoping to get into my craft room tomorrow to make some cards just for fun.  Hopefully, I will have some cards to share with you this week.

@Jane, I did get your message. I'm so sorry your card was returned.  I realized I forgot to put our apartment number on the envelope!  However, we would love to see anything you made with your goodies if you are inclined to share them :-)  I'm so glad you are enjoying them :-)

Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

Absolutely adorable in every way Jaydee! You can help but smile with this cute card and who can resist a chicken butt? Haha! Loved this challenge, my friend!

Jaydee, this card is so happy you can't help but SMILE!!!!! I agree! I love to blow bubbles with my grands. I loved this card and your challenge! Have a great weekend, My Friend! Stay warm!

Hello, Jaydee! What a great CAS card! I love all of the white space the way you arranged the bubbles and chicks - perfection! Xoxo, Fran

Your card definitely brought a smile to my face. It's adorable and brings back great memories of my mother and I blowing bubbles outside during below zero cold snaps to watch the bubbles instantly freeze. It was something I looked forward to every winter. Hmmm, I think I've got some bubbles left in the closet and it's going to be very cold this weekend. My mother is no longer with us but I think she'd get a kick if I blew some bubbles for her.

Jaydee these little chickies are just so sweet as they roll around on their bubbles, floating in the air and that sentiment - so true!

This is just the cutest little image! SO sweet, and what a fun idea for our challenge!

I will definitely share once I get a chance to stamp! Your bird card is just the best and truly did make me laugh!
