Paper Goods for Paper Players #623

Happy Sunday.

It's the fabulous Claire's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's color week. I have to admit... these colors are so not me.... BUT.... in the end I loved them.  This challenge also gave me a chance to play with some new goodies that I got in the Crafty Hands Card Kit.  You can buy this set of dies separately, but I got them as part of the kit. Here's a sneak peek:

I'm guessing you realized that green and blue were two of Claire's colors :-)

I'm also entering this card in the MFT Challenge #628.

I didn't have the exact colors so mixed and matched as best as I could.  I really was tempted to go with a floral theme, but these little envelopes and cards from the Crafty Hands card kit were calling my name.

I stamped the 3 cards that go in the little envelopes.  I left them loose and didn't adhere the cards into the envelopes as I thought it would be fun to write little messages on the back of each of them.  They are just so darned cute!

I used my favorite Postal Frames die from The Greetery and added the fun sentiment - also from the Crafty Friends stamp set which is an add on to the kit.

Here's my card:

I added some texture in the background using the same colors and some fun little stamps that came with the kit.  I just love that sentiment :-)

I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge this week.  As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

I'm hoping to get into my craft room and make some cards over the next couple of days.  Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

Yes, Jaydee, if I received this card, I would definitely consider myself carded! Considering how you initially felt about the colors, you pulled it off nicely! I really love those little splatters of hearts in the background. Great card! Xoxo, Fran

What an adorable card...or should I say cards! The sentiment is too cute. I love how you used the challenge colors to create a card with a clean vibe.

Your card full of cards is so cute Jaydee - I love the idea that they can have a separate note in each and such a fun sentiment too. A great fresh take on this week's colours!
