Die Cuts and Scraps for Paper Players #631

Summertime for Paper Players #630

Happy Sunday.

It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's theme week.  It might not feel like Spring around here yet, but making a card for our challenge this week inspired me to bring out the spring colors!  This challenge was the perfect opportunity to ink up a set I got this time last year from The Greetery called "Springtime".  Here's a sneak peek:

So, from the sneak peek, you probably saw that our challenge is:

I was certainly inspired by all the pastel colors from the inspiraation photos - and, of course, the little bunny!  I stamped and die-cut the elements - the card was really easy to put together.   Here's my card:

Springtime-AT

I created the clouds in the background using a stencil from MFT - the raindrops are from a stamp within the Springtime stamp set.  I added a couple of rhinestones for a little sparkle and kept the area around the focal image clean and simple.

I hope you will join us and play along with Joanne's theme.  We would love to see your spring inspired cards!

As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

On a personal note:

Well, packing is progressing.  We have 11 days until we move and have finished packing up the spare dishes, clothes that we aren't wearing, office goodies, etc.  I've packed one box of crafting stuff, but will need to do a couple more today.  I was looking at our kitchen yesterday as I was packing away dishes and realized that we were moving from 7 lower cabinets to more than double that!  Most of them are in the central island.  The island in the new kitchen really is one of those where I can see myself rolling out miles of pasta or pie dough... laying out rows of beautifully decorated cakes and cupcakes and rows of hot, steamy, melty, oh so gooey chocolate chip cookies!!!   well, that's all good in my head... but I can't bake to save my life!   As soon as I remembered that, my Martha Stewart fantasy thought bubble burst :-)

However,  thought I would share a photo I took when we went to measure up - then you can see what inspired my Martha fantasies!  The island has 10 cupboards and 10 drawers.  Still think it would be the perfect place for gorgeous cupcakes :-)

I haven't had much time in my craft room.  I managed to get in and make cards for the next couple of weeks to keep up with my design team commitments.  If I do manage to fit some crafting time in during the week, I will pop back in and share the caard with you.  IN the meanatime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

This card is just so pretty Jaydee - a real breath of fresh spring air and your sweet Easter bunny is adorable! What a pretty little scene - and a fabulous kitchen too! Sounds like I might need to pay you a visit - I'm a bit of a Martha Stewart in my spare time lol 😆

Oh Jaydee, this is DARLING! I just love that sweet bunny image and the adorable spring scene you created. The rhinestones are the perfect finishing touch, too. Thinking of you on the big move. It's always so stressful but so worth it when you can finally relax in your new home. Big hugs!

Jaydee, this is the best Easter card. I love every detail! The little bunny standing in the garden is precious! He is happy to be dancing in the rain. I love it! Your new kitchen would make me want to cook. It is fabulous. I have never seen a kitchen like that in an apt. Just WOW! I can't wait to see how you decorate! Thinking of you at this hectic time!

Hello, Jaydee! It's hard to decide what I like better - your Easter card, with all of the layers, or your new sparkling white kitchen! I can't imagine what it would be like to cook or bake in a kitchen with that much counter space.
Xoxo, Fran

Love your card, Jaydee, that adorable bunny is fun. Good luck packing and moving. IF you bake, I'll come help you eat everything. LOL

Jaydeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Is that the kitchen? I think it is the size of our apartment in Lima. Congratulations!!! . . . and moving you still have the time to send us a beautiful card!

Oh, Jaydee! There you go...creating another adorable card with this set that I love so much. Oh my gosh...this island is to die for! I think you should definitely fill it up with cupcakes, a fancy cake, and a lattice top pie or two. Don't forget some cookies! Have a wonderful week! Happy packing!
