Baby Face Lamb

Happy Monday

Well, I did get into my crafting area to make a card yesterday and I was inspired by the challenge across at AAACards to use ripped or torn edges.  I remembered that I had a stencil from My Favorite Things that had what could be considered as ripped or torn edges and decided to create a clean and simple baby card to send along for the nurses and families with babies in the NICU.

The Baby Face dies from The Greetery are perfect for baby cards - here's a sneak peek - can you see the lamb is slightly pink?  I know.  I know.  There should be no such things as pink lambs and, as a computer engineer, I get very literal when it comes to things like this, but am trying to embrace my more artistic side which says.... why can't lambs be pink! :-)

Oh... and here's the challenge from AAA and they did say the edges could be masked - so masked they are!

I die-cut and colored the little lamb and then used my MFT mask to add some grass and sky with light blending.  I added the sentiment and then adhered the lamb to the card.  Such a cute little face and I love that sentiment!

Here's my card:

These baby face dies are so cute and I have now shown you all the ones I have except for the sweet pea.  I have a card coming up with that in a couple of weeks.  In case you missed them you can see the Baby Face Bee card here and the The Baby Face Elephant here.

I'll be back later in the week with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs
Jaydee
