Stampin! with Jaydee

Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Vicky's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week. The code word she chose presented me with the perfect opportunity to bring out an old set from The Greetery that I love called Fresh Air!  Here's a sneak peek:

Because I'm that kind of person - I went literal with the interpretation.  However, my design team mates were much more creative and have some fabulous inspiration for you!

For my card, I began with the die cut and stamped elements.  I love this little window and for some reason, I just don't seem to be able to make the curtain out of anything other than vellum!  It takes me back to my childhood when we would open the windows on cleaning day and the net curtains would float out of the window.  I guess that's why I love this set so much!

I added a stencil to the area behind the window to make it look as though there was artwork or wallpaper on the wall.  I brought out the brick stencil to add texture around the window and to stop it from just floating in the middle of the card.  All that is missing is a little kitty sunning on the windowsill :-)
