Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's tic-tac-toe week! Looking at the options on the tic-tac-toe board I was inspired to die-cut and ink up the Jumbo Curiosity Dragonfly die from The Greetery. I love this die set! Here's a sneak peek: As you can see, I went with some fairly bright colors! From the tic-tac-toe board I chose bright colors, birthday and die-cut. Die-cutting and coloring the dragonfly was easy. I used finger daubers to color it and then backed it with 4 other die-cuts from white cardstock. I... Read more →

Happy Friday. It's time for another card making challenge at FestiveFriday this week. Every two weeks our card making challenge releases a new INSPO list designed around a world holiday. Our holiday this week is one that I think all of us can celebrate - National Eat What you Want Day! You don't have to make a food inspired card for our challenge, all you need to be inspired by 3 of the inspiration words and include those on your project. Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Ann's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's sketch week. Ann's sketch is such fun but, for some reason, it had me totally stumped! In the end I went with a card made using two old sets for Paper Rose Studio called Super Hero Fun and a die called Cityscapes. This card is going off to Send A Smile 4 Kids. Here's a sneak peek: Once I had photographed the card and re-looked... Read more →

Happy Saturday. It's the fabulous Vicky's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week. The code word she chose presented me with the perfect opportunity to bring out an old set from The Greetery that I love called Fresh Air! Here's a sneak peek: And here's Vicky's code word: Because I'm that kind of person - I went literal with the interpretation. However, my design team mates were much more creative and have some fabulous inspiration for you! For my card, I began with the die cut and stamped elements. I love this little window and for some... Happy Monday Well, I did get into my crafting area to make a card yesterday and I was inspired by the challenge across at AAACards to use ripped or torn edges. I remembered that I had a stencil from My Favorite Things that had what could be considered as ripped or torn edges and decided to create a clean and simple baby card to send along for the nurses and families with babies in the NICU. The Baby Face dies from The Greetery are perfect for baby cards - here's a sneak peek - can you see the lamb is... Read more →
