Stampin! with Jaydee

Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Toni's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and it's a word that many of us in the colder parts of the northern hemisphere will be looking forward to getting into soon :-)

I had so many ideas for this particular code word.  In the end I went with a set of dies I bought early last year from The Greetery called Oopsie Daisy.  Here's a sneak peek:

I stamped and die-cut the flowers and gathered them into a little bunch.  I needed to anchor them onto the page so added some blue blending but it didn't quite feel enough.  I had the xoxoxo background stamp on my craft table and decided I would use that.  I inked it up in the same color and then added just a touch of the xs and os to add texture.  I didn't press the background stamp with the same amount of pressure all over as I wanted a more distressed look.  Once I was happy, I stamped the sentiment and then popped my little bouquet up with some foam dots.
