I have another quick post for you today. In my quest to make at least 10 cards with each of my stamp sets we are in to day 5 of Earthen Treasures. I thought you might all be tired of the palm leaf from the set, so it was time to make a change. today's card is Jaydee Clean and Simple and focuses primarily on one of the stamps from the Earthen Textures set. So, for today's card the DSP takes a back seat as I used it only when I die cut the leaves from the matching die set. As much as I love creating CAS cards, I have enjoyed playing with the DSP from Earthen Elegance as it is completely out of my comfort zone. Trips down memory lane back to the 70s aside :-) If you missed the reference, it's from the card I made for yesterday's post - day 4. You can see that here.
Here's a sneak peek for today's card:
So, I have to tell you...... Pebbled Path. Man. I am completely in love with this color and I love it against bright white. For today's card I took the twiggy type of stamp and stamped it 5 times along the left hand side of the card base. I stamped and die-cut the earthen vase and die-cut the leaves from a piece of the Earthen Elegance DSP and placed the leaves behind the popped up vase. I stamped and cut the sentiment and popped it up from the card base. Easy peasy!
Here's my card:
As I said, I just love the Pebbled Path with white! I'll be back again tomorrow with day 6 of the cards I made with this set. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
