Stampin! with Jaydee

Happy Friday.

it's another INSPO day across at Festive Friday this week.  Festive Friday is a cardmaking and paper crafting challenge that runs bi-weekly.  Every two weeks we provide you celebrate another holiday or festivity from around the world and provide you with a list of inspiration words to choose from to incorporate onto your card.   As my card proves today, you don't need to follow the theme - just choose three INSPO words to incorporate onto your card.

As for my card, the INSPO list provided me with the perfect opportunity to ink up a new set I received on my recent SU order called Reach for the Stars.  Here's a sneak peek:

I was very tempted to go with a fairy card but it was a comment that Lou made that made me change my mind.  When he saw this set and the fabulous DSP that goes with it he said something about it being a great set for boys.    Errrr.... excuse me, I said..... what about girls who love space - me included!  So a girly-ish card was created and is being sent off to SendASmile4Kids.

This card was really easy.   I stamped the background with the It's in the Stars background stamp and die-cut the layer.  I stamped the space adventurer in pink and die-cut her with the matching dies.  I then cut a piece of the fabulous Stargazing DSP and put everything together.

So, as you can see from my card, you don't have to follow the festivity we are celebrating, just incorporate at least three of the INSPO words.  I hope you will join us and play along.  We would love to see what you create with for our challenge this week.  As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you.
