Stampin! with Jaydee

Happy Wednesday.

I have a quick post for you today.  I promised to share more of the cards that I created using the Reach for the Stars stamp and die set from Stampin' Up!  This is part of my "create 10 cards from each new stamp before I put it way challenge" that I have set for myself.

I don't know about you, but I have stamps in my cupboard that are woefully neglected - some have seen ink a single time.... and errrrr... I have some that I haaven't inked up at all!  So, I decided I was going to force myself to find at least 10 uses for each set I buy.  I know I am going to battle to do that with some sets and, to be honest, I thought this would be one of them.  I love the set but I love the incredible Stargazing DSP even more.  However, once I got over the first couple of cards I made with the set, I really enjoyed playing around with it.

For today's card I decided it was time to feature some of that fabulous DSP and I promise you it is even better in real life.  I used some of the planet DSP and fussy cut around them - or used my dies.  I then added those to a piece of the background galaxy DSP.  All I had to do was add a sentiment.  So easy to do and yet it looks as though I spent a lot more time on it!

You can see that I added a star from the matching die set to add a little more shimmer and shine and bring attention to the sentiment.  BTW - I just love these gorgeous, rich colors!
