Merry Christmas for Addicted to CAS #245

Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Helen's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and her code word got me thinking about using one of my old dies in a different way :-)

I used a retired die from My Favorite Things and made a shaker using some new embellishments from the Stampin' Up! holiday cataalog called Loose Holly Gems and Sequins.  Here's a sneak peek:

I die-cut the glass from several layers of cardstock and added some of the fabulous sequin mix into the shaker.  I die-cut the base of the card with my Crimped Frames from The Greetery and then used the snow flakes stencil - also from The Greetery - to create the snowflake background.

I was inspired to create this card by the sentiment that is in a set - also from the new mini catalog - called Joy of Noel.  Here's a closer look at the fabulous sequin mix:

Sequins

I think they are fabulous.  I mean I love the musical notes and the holly leaves but the addition of the sequins just takes them up a notch :-)

Here's my full card:

The sentiment.... perfect:-)

I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge this week.  We'd love to see what you create.  I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

What a fun Christmas card, Jaydee! Love the holly/sequins/musical notes for filling the shaker glass. Enjoy your day!
