Stampin! with Jaydee

I have a quick card for you tonight which showcases a sneak peek from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Holiday 2023 Mini Catalog.  When I saw the challenge across at Inkspirational this week I knew that this set and some Shaved Ice would work perfectly for the challenge. I was also inspired by the CAS challenge across at Just Add Ink  and the color challenge across at Time Out. I paired the sentiment from Joy of Noel with the die from Christmas Classics.  Here's a sneak peek:

I am in love with this die and I think the addition of the Shaved Ice helps lift a clean and simple Christmas card.

The challenge across at Just Add Ink:

Well the shaved ice certainly fits the iridescent theme:-).   For my card, I cut a card base down to 4.25 x 4.25 inches.  I die-cut the fabulous frame from the Christmas Classics die collection and tapped little dots of glue all over the foliage and dipped it into the Iridescent Ice.  I shook off the bits that hadn't quite adhered and added some scrap cardstock behind the frame to lift it from the base of the card and adhered it to the base.  I stamped the Noel sentiment from the Joy of Noel stamp set and die-cut it with the matching dies.  I die-cut a couple of extra letters and placed them behind the silver embossed ones to add a touch of dimension and then adhered them to the inner frame that I die-cut.

I just love that background die and the large NOEL letters.  The Shaved Ice shimmer and shine just makes me smile!  I have another couple of cards to share with you on Monday and Tuesday using the same sets.  As a reminder, the catalog opens up for purchase on September 6!
