Hug in a Mug for Festive Friday #00149

Happy Friday.

It's our last Festive Friday Challenge of the year and we have a wonderful INSPO list for you to choose from this week.  At Festive Friday we lead with a national or world holiday as our theme and then provide you with a list of inspiration elements to use on your creation.  You don't have to follow the holiday, just include at least three elements from our INSPO list - easy peasy!

The holiday and INSPO list for our challenge this week inspired me to bring out a set that I bought at least 3 years ago but have hardly used.  It's called Hug in a Mug and it's from The Greetery.  I just love this set, but just haven't found many reasons to use it.  It is a wonderful 3D project and is perfect for hiding little chocolatee treats!

Here's a sneak peek:

Oh... and here is our holiday and INSPO list for this week!

Although it might look complicated, the incredible design of the dies makes it really easy to die-cut and stamp the respective elements.  The "hardest" part was holding up the top of the cup.  The steam die is secured inside the top and is the perfect thing to help lift the lid to see the contents inside.  I also stamped the elements on the saucer and the top of the coffee/chocolate.  I added some goodies from the bits and pieces that went with this release.  You can see more about this fabulous set at this link at the Greetery. I really was hoping they would bring out a stamp for other occasions, sadly, they didn't!

Oh... I forgot... there is also a die that creates a round hole in the top of the cup that is perfect for inserting a straw!  I have some old red and white straws and cut a piece off one of them to use on my creation.  It's another element that can be used to lift the the top off the cup to show the goodies inside!

INSPO list elements: White, Brown, Red, Candy Canes, Hot Drinks

Notice the marshamallows:-)  I just love this set and how you can decorate as much - or as little - as you like.

I hope you will join us and play along with our final challenge for 2023.  We would love to see what you create.  As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

I'll be back on Sunday with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
