Happy Sunday and greetings from a warm and summery Minnesota! So, I am back home after my whirlwind trip to Seattle - more about that after my card. It's the fabulous Ann's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has chosen some wonderful colors for us. I don't know why, but they reminded me of ice cream! So, I was able to take out a set of dies that I hadn't used from Alexandra Renke called Ice Cream in Cones. Here's a sneak peek: And here is Ann's challenge: Such a gorgeous, fresh color scheme. M... Happy Friday and greetings from Seattle! Yep... Seattle! It's another INSPO challenge across at FestiveFriday this week and we are celebrating BROTHER'S. As always, you don't have to follow the theme on our challenge, you just need to include at least 3 items from our INSPO LIST on your creation. As my brother has been gone 17 years (how on earth could it be that long!) I chose to use three items from our INSPO LIST instead. Happy Wednesday and greetings from a beautiful sunny Minnesota! Honey, I'm home! And it feels strange writing about my travels now that I am home, but I did want to finish up writing about some of my favorite places. Today it's all about Singapore. It's been a minute (or two) since I was last there, so I was really looking forward to going back. Quite a lot... Read more →
Happy Sunday and greetings from New York! It's another challenge across at the Paper Players this week and LeAnne has a fabulous theme for us. This fun theme inspired me to pull out an old MFT set called Happy Birthday Herd. Here's a sneak peek: And here's LeAnne's challenge: For my card I stamped two of the images and framed them in the photoframe die - also from MFT. I did some quick coloring with my Copic markers and used an old stencil to add a little background texture, and ground the images. I added a quick sentiment and some... Read more →
Happy Friday and greetings from just off the coast of Nova Scotia. Well, it's another foggy day here but the air is crisp and clean and there is a cool breeze. I just love this part of the world, but it seems that every time we sail past here, we don't see anything but fog. However, that doesn't put me off! My post today is about a place that is almost 8,500 miles from Nova Scotia. Vietnam. Before I start saying anything about the trip I have to say that Vietnam was an amazing revelation. It was everything I thought... Read more →
