Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's color week. The bright color scheme inspired me to bring out a new die set called Coastal Escape from Spellbinders. Here's a sneak peek: And here is Joanne's bright and cheerful color choices: Lemon Lolly is generally too bright for me, but paired with the blue I really liked it. For my extra color I chose shades of Coral as I thought it worked really well with the others and added a little warmth. I die cut the images and added some watercolors... Read more →

Happy Saturday. We have a new challenge across at Addicted to CAS this week and it was my turn to choose the code word. It gave me the perfect excuse to ink up this stamp and make a love card. I love the way the flower pops, but I really should have used green embossing powder for the stem. Too late! :-) I needed to make the flower pop from the background so blended blue ink and then added a few... Read more →

Happy Saturday. I got the chance to play with another challenge today and this time was inspired by the CASE a DT member week across at Just Us Girls. Bobby's card was the inspiration to ink up a set I haven't used yet from Pinkfresh Studio called Wildflower Bouquet. I was inspired by the florals in Bobnby's card as well as the pastel colors. Here's a sneak peek: And here's the link to the Just Us Girls challenge where you can see Bobby's card and the others from the DT. The first thing I did was stamp the wildflowers and... Read more →
