Stampin! with Jaydee

Happy Saturday.  It's the fabulous Melanie's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has a theme that I think we can all rally around!  As this is a CAS challenge, I kept my elements pretty clean and simple with lots of white space.  I opened up my Spellbinders Coastal Escape View dies for my card.  Here's a sneak peek:

Having spent 5 months sailing around the world (well almost!) I was lucky enough to sail past some beautiful islands.  Luckily I had a balcony and not a port hole, but this set will always remind me of my cruise.   I die cut the elements and colored them with a rough watercolor technique.  I blended the background with my blending brushes and kept everything else white.  The card was really easy to put together.
