Stampin! with Jaydee

Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Helen's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has a fun code word for us.  This code word gave me the perfect excuse to ink up some stamps from a set called Pola Christmas that came as part of a set from Simon Says Stamp in the most recent Create and Connect with Pinkfresh Studios.  I had a fun time with some very loose watercoloring for these delightful images.

And here is Helen's code word:

I stamped and watercolored the image using normaly 100# paper.  That gave me just a little lift on the edges of the image.  This means that I have some dimension as the edges lift from the card, but no added bulk.  Before adhering the images I added some blue ink blended in the background to help ground them.  I adhered just the central part of the image to the card base and added some white and metallic silver splatters to give the feel of snow.  I added a few snowflake sequins just to finish everything off.
