Happy Friday - again! I got to play along with two challenges today - both of them CAS challenges. Firstly there is the theme challenge across at CAS on Friday and then the sketch from CAS Colors and Sketches. I was inspired to ink up the Pinkfresh Studio Thinking of you stamp set, as well as the matching stencils. Here's a sneak peek: And here are the two challenges: I stamped the image in Memento ink and then colored it with some inks from Pinkfresh Studio and the stencils for the set. I added the sentiment and added some blue... Read more →

Happy Friday. It's another INSPO challenge across at Festive Friday this week and the INSPO list is great for anyone getting ready to create Valentine's/Galentine's cards! I used the new stencil I got a couple of weeks ago from Waffle Flower and paired it with the postage die. Here's a sneak peek: And here is our INSPO list. As a reminder, you don't have to follow the theme, we just ask that you use at least three items from our INSPO list on your creation. Happy Wednesday. I got to play along with another challenge today - SendASmile4Kids is having a challenge to use either new stuff or old stuff. For my card, I used the new Simon Says Stamp card kit for January called Get Yeti. It's the sweetest set and I had fun creating this card. Here's a sneak peek: I honestly had such fun creating this card. I stamped and then heat embossed all of the images with silver embossing powder. I colored the images with my Copic markers and then fussy cut around them. I used a border die from Photoplay... Read more →

Happy Tuesday And welcome to a Minnesota where the temps are in the plus 40s - instead of the minus late 30s they were last week! Well, the weather might be confused, but I loved the sketch across at Sunday Stamps this week and had a set that I got as part of a class to use for the challenge. The set is called Cheers and is from Pinkfresh Studios. Here's a sneak peek: The sketch also gave me the opportunity to pull out some DSP that has been sitting in my stash for ages! Oh - and here's the... Read more →
