Happy Saturday

It's another clean and simple challenge across at Addicted to CAS and our host Vicki chose a fun code word for us.  I had a new set sitting on my crafting table and decided that I could pair that with an old die and it would work well for our code word.  I used All Music from Alexandra Renke for the sentiment and the die is from a set called Grammophone and Saxophone.

Here's a sneak peek:

I began by die cutting the focal panel with my Postal Frame from The Greetery and then die-cut the center with an Alexandra Renke die called Dissolving Dots.  I added a piece of black cardstock behind the die cut circle so that the dots, and the grammophone, would pop.  I die-cut the grammophone in gold card stock and added a sentiment.  I cannot tell you how true I think the sentiment is.  It's amazing how many memories can be evoked by a single chord, a hook, or a roaring vocal.    I was not surprised to see research on Alzheimers and the positive effects that music can have on patients.

I'm not sure what happened with the photo, but my camera seems to have been a little drunk and disorderly as the sentiment doesn't quite look in focus!
