Happy Friday - again! I managed to get some time in my craft room today and played along with a color challenge from Color Throwdown. I just loved these bright colors, especially on a dull day! I brought out my Waffle Flower Postal Collage Spring Breeze and used 3 of the stamps from the stencil set. Here's a sneak peek: And here's the challenge badge from Color Throwdown: The Postal Collage Stencils from Waffle Flower are so easy to use and I love that you can use the output as a whole sheet of stamps, or cut them and make... Happy Friday. It's another INSPO list challenge across at Festive Friday this week and we have a fun celebration for you. I was inspired to ink up my Postal Collage Lucky from Waffle Flower. Happy Tuesday I have a fun kids card for you today using the challenge from Atlantic Hearts and using the Simon Says Stamps Get Yeti card kit from January. Here's a sneak peek: Here's the sketch from Atlantic Hearts: And the badge from SSS: I began by embossing the background with the embossing folder that was included in the kit. I then stamped the mountain image onto thick vellum and heat set it with silver embossing powder. I then colored the mountains grey using... Read more →

Happy Tuesday. Greetings for a very warm (for the season) Minnesota. I got to play along with a challenge from CAS Colors and Sketches today. Their great sketch got me itching to get back to my Clean and Simple roots and use a set that hasn't seen any ink yet. Despite the fact that I bought it 18 months ago! It's a set called Tea for Two from Alexandra Renke. Here's a sneak peek: Pink and green - perfect for Spring! Here's the sketch: I began by die-cutting a circle and then stamping the berries onto the circle with just... Read more →
